Soutra Mains Quarry and Glasgow Asphalt see Investment in Growth

Hillhouse Quarry Group is proud to continue investment in plant, people and infrastructure to support future growth.
 
 
We’ve taken delivery of a Metso HP300 Mobile Cone Crusher at Soutra Quarry, supplied by McHale Plant.
 
The Metso HP300 is a key part of our wider Soutra expansion, increasing capacity for graded stone production in preparation for our new asphalt plant, scheduled to come online in the second half of 2026.

The Metso is exactly the right bit of kit for the job and the guys are genuinely excited to have it on site. Seeing this level of investment coming into Soutra is a real boost for morale and shows the commitment to growing the operation as we expand our activities and continue to develop the business even further.

We have also received a Caterpillar 962, supplied by Finning, Caterpillar dealers, further strengthening our fleet and supporting ongoing operations at Glasgow Asphalt.
