In addition to aggregate production, the site also supplies ready-mix concrete and concrete blocks, offering customers a full-service solution from a single location.

With strong regional transport links, Soutra Mains provides reliable collection and delivery services, supporting projects throughout Midlothian, Edinburgh, the Lothians, and beyond.

Soutra Mains is also home to Edinburgh Asphalt, Hillhouse Group’s modern asphalt production facility serving Edinburgh, the Lothians, the Borders and the wider east of Scotland.

Located alongside the established quarry operation, Edinburgh Asphalt combines asphalt production with access to local aggregate materials, experienced operational teams and the Group’s wider technical and commercial support.
