We are currently recruiting experienced Road Surfacing Operatives to join our team at HG Contracts, Paisley. The construction works and locations are based within Southwest Scotland.

 

The Suitable Candidates will be able to undertake general Road Surfacing and Street Works operations in accordance with statutory legislation and approved specifications. Reporting directly to the Surfacing Supervisor, the Surfacing Operative will have the ability to work in accordance with written/ verbal instructions and within the confines of the safe systems of work.

 

As a Surfacing Operative, you will:

  • Carry out works as instructed by the Surfacing Supervisor.
  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard of workmanship and quality.
  • Be available to work overtime where required (weekends, nightshift working etc)
  • Be able to work as part as a team to complete projects safely and within acceptable timescales.
