George Jarvie-Jones is Head of Marketing at Hillhouse Group, leading marketing, digital strategy, customer engagement and brand development across the organisation.

George is a commercially focused marketing, digital transformation and business development professional with experience across hospitality, property and construction materials. His role at Hillhouse brings together strategic marketing, digital systems, data-led decision making and hands-on project delivery, supporting multiple areas of the business as it continues to develop and modernise.

As Head of Marketing, George is responsible for shaping and delivering marketing activity across the group, including website development, digital advertising, search engine optimisation, customer communications, content creation, photography, videography, branding and campaign planning. His work also extends into CRM systems, reporting dashboards, automation, customer experience improvements and the development of practical tools that help the business operate more efficiently.

George’s role supports both external growth and internal improvement. This includes strengthening the group’s online presence, improving customer journeys, generating higher quality enquiries, supporting recruitment and employer brand activity, and providing clearer insight into commercial and operational performance. He works closely with teams across the business to understand their requirements and develop solutions that are commercially focused and practical to use.

Before joining Hillhouse, George held senior positions within the hospitality industry, including directorial roles focused on business development, revenue management and strategic projects. During this time, he was responsible for driving profitability, improving operational performance, overseeing marketing activity and implementing technology solutions that enhanced efficiency and guest experience.

George’s strengths lie in bridging the gap between commercial strategy and implementation. He is equally comfortable developing long-term growth plans, analysing business performance, managing budgets and stakeholder relationships, or personally delivering digital, creative and marketing projects.

His professional expertise includes strategic marketing and business development, digital transformation, website development, SEO, paid advertising, business intelligence, customer experience, brand development, photography, videography, content creation, project management and commercial performance improvement.

George is passionate about helping organisations improve performance through clear strategy, better systems, stronger customer engagement and practical innovation. His work at Hillhouse supports the group’s continued development by combining commercial insight, digital capability and creative delivery.

I can be working on brand development, websites, paid advertising, photography, reporting, customer journeys or internal systems, but the purpose is always the same: to create practical improvements that support the business and the people within it. Hillhouse has a huge amount of experience, capability and technical knowledge across the group. My role is to help communicate that more clearly, support the teams who deliver it every day, and use marketing and digital tools to help the business keep moving forward.
