HG (Contracts) Ltd is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Traffic Management Manager to join our dynamic team based in Paisley.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an immediate start, offering a 39- Monday to Friday, and to support weekend and night shift.

In this role, you will inspire and lead your team to consistently deliver a high-quality, efficient service. You will ensure your workforce is fully trained, skilled, and equipped to meet operational challenges, while driving clear and timely communication through toolbox talks, safety alerts, and contract-specific processes.

Collaboration will be central to your success. Working closely with colleagues across the wider group, you will identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance best working practice while delivering long-term, sustainable value.

Health and Safety is paramount to this role. You will set the standard for safe working practices, ensuring full compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Management Team, you will play a key role within a professional environment, supporting a diverse range of surfacing and civil engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • TTME
  • Lantra Sector Scheme qualifications
  • IOSH Managing Safely/SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Traffic Management planning.
  • Knowledge of Traffic Management operations, safety standards, NHSS.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Communication and client relationship skills.
  • Experience in working Microsoft Office and AutoCAD / TM planning software is essential
  • Financial awareness.
  • Lantra T6 qualification. 
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Also, a Street works ticket is desirable but not essential
