Road Surfacing Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor

We are currently recruiting an experienced Road Surfacing Supervisor & Assistant Supervisor to join our team at HG Contracts, Paisley. The construction works and locations are based within Southwest Scotland.

The suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of safely delivering Road Surfacing and Street Works operations in accordance with statutory legislation and approved specifications. Reporting directly to the Surfacing Manager, the Supervisor (Assistant) will have the ability to work in accordance with written/ verbal instructions and within the confines of the safe systems of work.

As a Surfacing (Assistant) Supervisor, you will:

• Carry out works as instructed by the Surfacing Manager.
• Ensure the works are supervised, controlled and completed safely and within acceptable timescales.
• Ensure that surface operatives are inducted, briefed, and signed on to their relevant RAMS.
• Ensure all daily site information is recorded and returned to the office for filing.
• Manage, control and report on the use of material, plant and resources required.
• Ensure the teams works are completed to a high standard workmanship and quality.

Job Type:    Full- Time

Salary:          £Negotiable – Depending on Experience.

The Requirements:

• Previous Experience in a Similar Role (Essential)
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Essential)
• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
• CPCS Card (Desirable) training provided as required
• NRSWA Card (Desirable) training provided as required
