Hillhouse Quarry Group Ltd is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, concrete products and operates road surfacing and civil engineering divisions.
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Production Operative to join our concrete manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality concrete blocks, from machine operation to yard management.
Key Responsibilities
• Operating concrete block-making machinery and monitoring product quality.
• Operating up to 10-tonne forklifts to move, stack, and load concrete blocks safely.
• Performing daily vehicle and machinery safety checks.
• Assisting with site maintenance as required.
• Strictly adhering to Health & Safety protocols.
Requirements
• Forklift Certification: Valid, accredited counterbalance license for up to 10 tonnes (Essential).
• Experience: Proven experience in a heavy industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment.
• Adaptability: Willingness to assist in all areas of the production line, not just forklift work.
