We are currently seeking experienced Ground Workers to join our dynamic team at HG Contracts in Paisley. Projects are located throughout Scotland, offering a variety of work environments and challenges.

Your Role

Reporting to the Civils Supervisor, you will carry out a range of general groundworks in compliance with statutory regulations and industry standards. Such as:

  • Drainage
  • Kerbing
  • Ducting
  • Slabbing & Streetscape
  • Other general civil engineering tasks

You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, following verbal and written instructions while adhering to safe systems of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks as directed by the Civils Supervisor
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship on all assignments.
  • Be flexible and available for overtime, including occasional night shifts and weekends.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to complete projects on time and safely.
