Hillhouse Group is a family-owned business operating throughout Scotland. The company is a major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, readymix concrete, concrete products, road surfacing and civil engineering services to the construction industry and civil engineering sectors.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the payroll operations for our various Group entities. You’ll be part of a small team, working closely with your fellow payroll colleagues to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end to end payroll for monthly, 2-weekly and weekly payroll runs.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and updating employee information.
- Prepare payroll actions in line with new hires, changes to terms and conditions, leavers and absence.
- Support the collation of data and preparation of reports.
- Provide first line advice to employees on basic payroll queries ranging from advice on SSP, SMP and PAYE issues.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Person Profile
